 | About iPliz Allows users to remotely access their computer via email — so all you need at the point of access is an email client or a webmail account and a browser at the point of access. (You can access your computer from your iPhone as well!) Currently iPliz allows you to search your computer from remote by sending an email with the search query in the subject, and retrieve files. This means you no longer have to deal with forgetting to transfer files to a thumb drive, your laptop etc. iPliz is built as an extensible platform so its capabilities can be extended using plugins — stuff like monitoring screenshots of the computer, operating a webcam for simple surveillance tasks, even controlling a smart home. Various plugins are in the works, as well as an open SDK allowing anyone to write plugins. Special care was taken to make iPliz easy to setup and integrate it nicely into Mac OS X. |
