Joomla! Day in Pune is happening on the 25th of April, 2009. Pune is at the height of all things technology in India. Usage of the Joomla framework is picking up at amazing rate! The first Joomla Day in 2009 is announced in Izmir, Turkey. The Turkish Joomla Community is looking forward to their third Joomla Day after successful events in Istanbul and Ankara. The event will be held on Saturday, Jan 10, 2009, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM at the Balçova Municipal Council Hall in İzmir.

The power of the Joomla community!

Thanks to everyone who responded to our last email requesting venues in JHB.The response was truly fantastic. As a result, we now have a venue, and can go ahead with planning the Day. See below.

After a very successful Joomla Day in Durban and Cape Town this year, we will be now be focusing on the Johannesburg event.

Joomla! Day Spain 2008

On Saturday, April 19th, 2008, the Spanish Joomla! community will hold their inaugural Joomla! Day España event on the beautiful campus of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain's capital city. This event sold out nearly a month ago, evidence of the strong support and enthusiasm of the Joomla! community from all across Spain.

Attendees will enjoy a variety of presentations and discussions held all day from 9 AM to 8 PM. During the day, the group will meet in the Assembly Hall. In the evening, smaller break-out sessions are scheduled in parallel to encourage focused discussion and community interaction.
