 | About What Cue
A cue list management program designed specifically for Lighting Designers, Programmers and their Assistants. It keeps track of cue information and acts as a reminder system for updating focuses and work or plotting notes during rehearsals, previews and transfers.
It also has Triggered Reminders – A flexible system of Reminder Events that are triggered off the cue list – no more missing the Leading Ladies Special Downstage Center. What Cue communicates with the lighting desks is in via Midi Show Control. Any desk that supports MIDI Show Control will work with What Cue.
Also What Cue supports multiple iPhone clients. This allows the design team to keep track of the current cue the desk is is remotely – Perfect during Previews.

Manage company products from a marketing and technical standpoint. It’s document based and can manage an unlimited number of documents each with an unlimited number of products, subdivided by family. It can be a general repository for all the data used inside a company for marketing and technical management.
The application is customizable with custom labels for the specific products category used. It allows to organize products in a logical subdivision and for every product the user can store Main data with generic data fields, releases notes, press releases, bug list, todo list, printable reports, competitors list plus generic media points and text template for use inside the application.

I've had the privilege of working with an organization based in Ethiopia this week. They wanted some information about how widely used Open Source is and whether it would be a good choice. So I started digging and found out that practically every Ethiopian university and the vast majority of the country's government agences all run Joomla. There's a list below that took me an hour to find, just looking for offiicial sites.
This is a tribute to the hard work of all involved in Joomla. To take just one example, the people on our translation teams have made it possible for website builders to suceed even with languages like Amharic - the ancient language of Ethiopia. Our community has had a remarkable effect on the web in a country of 80 million people.
