 | About filewrangler
An intuitive, modular batch file renaming utility. With version 2.0, a radical user interface concept is introduced, distinguishing it from other, similar programs. Its “DIY” interface approach offers maximum flexibility in a minimum of screen real estate; robust filtering and renaming utilities with a shallow learning curve. Introducing panels: Panels are discrete blocks of functionality, each one devoted to doing one and only one thing. Panels are added to a “chain” in the main interface, and the order of the chain describes the order of elements in your file name. The interface is yours to modify at your discretion and is therefore never any more complex nor simplified than your needs and comfort level.
Other features include robust filtering options using the same panel-based interface, QuickLook support for previewing files before renaming, the ability to create filter and naming sets, more options for viewing and sorting file data, line-item deletions from the file list, and more. |
