Today we have reached the unbelievable amount of 2,000,000 forum posts.
This would not have been possible without all the registered users. The users who asked their questions and shared their ideas. And the users who contributed their knowledge to help out their fellow Joomla users. Furthermore credits go to our fantastic team of dedicated moderators who do their utmost to keep our forum a friendly and spam free place.
Now for some statistics:
At this moment we have 2 million posts and counting,
more than 450,000 topics,
more than 365,000 registered users, among which 170 people with more than 1,000 messages.
The previous milestone of 1 million post was reached in September 2007. That was 2 years after the start of the Joomla project and just before Joomla 1.5 was released. The 2nd million message mark took a half year longer, 2.5 years. Possibly due to the great documentation site that contains answers to most asked questions.
Now let's go for the next 1 million! That should be possible with Joomla 1.6 in sight.
And if we all try to answer one unanswered question... :-)
